The Rural and Land-Based sector is, as the name suggests, very much to do with working on or with the land. Probably suited best to those people that love nature and the outdoors, but also relevant to scientists who might like to study the weather or work with animals and plants. There is a diverse range of jobs related to this industry from farmer or farm hand to environmental management and even meteorology (the study of weather). With significant areas of the Gatwick Diamond being rural this is very much a prominent and popular sector.
